Most animated explainer videos today have a flat, two- dimensional look. This 2D method works actually well for simplifying concepts or procedures. In some cases, it's crucial to include a 3rd measurement: depth.
It can be hard to tell the difference between 2D animation and 3D animation. If you actually want to get technical, it's the difference between drawing 2D illustrations and creating 3D models. But. the typical viewer does not care about all of that. They feel in one's bones that 3D appears more advanced and aesthetically richer.
